1 Bright And Early Project

Hello guys and I am back again. The last couple of days have been busy for me because I am both being tied down to a big Kingdom Business project (for my church) and 1 morning project. Did I forget to mention I have a new client? I am so blessed to have her posting Craigslist ads. She is truly legit so I give the credit to my Father for blessing me with her.

early bird

The thing with the project is perfect and I’m so happy my prayer was finally answered. She is an ongoing client like my evening client and that’s what I was looking for.

Here’s the good news:

  • I get to post 3 ads per day on CL (Craigslist).
  • She also provides data entry projects and I just love doing data entry work.
  • Only require 2 1/2 hours a day for 4 days, a total of 10 hours a week.

The bad news:

  • Getting up at 7am to post ads.

I am not usually an early bird but rather a night owl, so I am trying to adapt to this new schedule. Their schedule is a requirement so on my first day, I got up around 8 in the morning, posted 3 ads and that was it. I told the client about it and I was so happy she accepted it and told me, “Oh, it’s ok, it’s your first day”. I was thinking I was going to get the rude-treatment like, “Ok. Don’t let this happen again. I will give you another day to do this task on time or I will have to end the contract”. But I thought wrong.

sleeping late

I woke up late yesterday morning and she told me it’s fine, I can do it tomorrow (which is today). This morning I finally was able to get up (thanks to my ZTE Warp alarm - yes I have a new phone now and bigger than ever, the first ‘real’ Android phone. Had to upgrade from my old big and small Touch Pro 2 on XD Android), even though I was a little sleepy. But I don’t want to mess up my reputation as a good freelancer so I plan to do better and get used to the 7am schedule. I pray that the company allows me to post the Pacific ads at least 7:25am which I can do.

A rule of thumb to all of you night owl freelancers who want morning work, but expect to get up real early to do so: If you plan to try a project that requires you to get up real early in the morning, don’t do the job if you can’t handle the early bird shift, even if you were invited to the project. Would you want to waste your time waking up late continually on an early morning project? Exactly! LOL

Well, that’s all folks to my little dilemma. I will have more for you soon!

Until then…Have a blessed one!

Wow! Where would you really place these at? On your nearest sidewalk? Very unique! Like they always say: think outside the box. :)
